Real-time team management · browser, iOS, Android
iGP Manager
Where GPRO asks you to plan and wait, iGP Manager puts you on the radio. Races run in real time against other managers, and the calls you make mid-race — box this lap, switch tyres, read the weather — change the result while you watch.
Overview · iGP Manager
What it is
The publisher, iGP Games, calls the current version iGP Manager 26: a Formula-style race team manager with online leagues, 3D races and real-time strategy. You create your car, hire and manage drivers and staff, and develop the team across seasons. The site is careful to say iGP Manager is not an officially licensed Formula racing product, which explains the generic naming.
The official press kit lists browser, Android and iOS as platforms, gives the regular price as “Free”, and counts 25 international race circuits.
How a race works
This is the game’s centre of gravity. During the race you plan pit stops, manage tyre wear and fuel, and react to changing weather — according to the publisher, weather data is streamed from real-world circuit locations. Cars race wheel to wheel in 3D with onboard and TV-style cameras, and a lighter 2D view exists for less powerful devices.
Because the strategy is live, presence matters. A rain shower you didn’t see is a rain shower you didn’t react to. That is the thrill and, on a busy week, the catch.

Leagues, sprints and the time it asks
iGP Manager offers two rhythms. Sprint races are scheduled, quick events you can drop into; leagues are full championship seasons against the same group of managers, and you can host your own with your own schedule and rules. The features page describes formats from casual sprints up to two-hour grand prix.
For crowded weeks there is an option the changelog calls Offline Mode: a league can run races in spectate-only mode, without live management, for a whole season or race by race. Classic Mode brings back an old-school 2D race, and Realistic Setups replace the simple setup with nine parameters — front and rear wing, camber, toe, brake bias, gear ratio, tyre settings and more — with setup assistance switched off.
Our read: a sprint fits a lunch break; a league with full-length races is an appointment in your diary. Look at a league’s schedule before you look at its standings.
Team, staff and the AI chat
Between races you hire and train drivers and staff, upgrade the car, build facilities and invest in technology. The changelog also mentions a youth academy and a global transfer market with one-hour auctions.
One unusual addition: an integrated AI chat in which you talk to your drivers and staff about race results, and the team’s morale colours the tone of the replies. Whether that is charming or a gimmick is up to you; it is optional flavour, not a requirement.
What’s free and what isn’t
The game is free to start. Its terms describe optional purchases made through app stores or payment providers, and in-game virtual items; the changelog refers to subscription perks and “League Boosts” that add premium league features. In plain terms: free to play, with optional in-game purchases and an optional subscription. Prices aren’t shown on the public pages we read, so we don’t list them.
Where you can play
In a browser through the web app on igpmanager.com, and in the iOS and Android apps. The publisher stresses cross-device play: start a session on a desktop, carry on from a phone. The interface is offered in more than twenty languages, including Italian, Hungarian and Finnish.
